    我真的很享受住在这里的一年。这是一个非常好的位置，让你感觉不像是在伦敦。在附近有些商店和公园。虽然附近没有地铁站，但是公交线路能连接到伦敦中部和上部站，只是一个5分钟的步行路程，所以我从来不觉得交通是一个问题，在这条街的尽头是一家意大利餐厅，到多尔斯顿只是5分钟的路，在夏天的时候那里有一些很好的酒吧、餐馆。住宿条件很好，但算不上豪华，只是你需要用的设施这里都有。有一个在外面洗衣服的地方（只有两个洗衣机和两个滚筒烘干机，所以你必须早去洗）有一个新装修的自习室和清洁工打扫的公共厨房区。当我第一次去了那里，我的房间还没有被粉刷，椅子散架了，床垫是可怕的！但在告诉接待工作人员这些问题后，他们就把问题解决了！我以前住在学生宿舍，很安静，我几乎看不到任何人，或者外出散步。没有任何消防设施而且人们真的不和同住在一个房间里的人交朋友。

    首先，我是一个苛刻的人，所以如果我给8分，那还不错，我诚实的说，住在这公寓里，我住的挺高兴的而且感觉非常舒适。它相对宽敞，很安静和舒适。这个位置到商店很方便，到酒吧餐馆也超方便。然而，有几个小地方需要改进…我在这里很挑剔。厨房的空间很小。租金很贵，但是并非不合理。位置距离爱丁堡大学并不是超级近，还有个20分钟步行的路程或者10分钟车程，由于某些原因，这里的很多学生似乎非常不爱社交。烟雾警报器太敏感了，基本上任何一个做饭的人都必须把塑料袋放在他们的检测器上。床太小了。

    我选择这个公寓的原因是因为它位置优势吸引着我，这是一个新建的，我想它不会有什么不好的地方。在很大程度上我是对的，位置很好，房间很好。这个房间里唯一真正的问题是全年气温的极端变化，冬天室内蛮冷的。加热系统似乎是一个计时器，你按下一个按钮，它就打开几个小时。这意味着我经常会在夜里醒来，或是离开几天后，就不得不回到冰冷的房间，因为按钮没有被按下。通风也很少，我推荐买个风扇。主要问题还是管理上的问题，他们真的让整个公寓的人失望。我觉得他们态度恶劣和懒惰，不愿意帮助和解决房间的问题。我们碰到一些严重的问题，如管道漏水，前门不关闭和整个洗衣系统失效，他们处理解决的很慢。例如，洗衣机在星期五坏了（他们知道），但他们假装不知道，直到有人与他们联系，这个周末已经过去了，所以技术员联系不到，直到新的一周开始才联系。他们也没有努力试图让大家一起生活在这里，帮助我处理关系。如果没有一个人积极主动地与人见面聊天，我会觉得很孤独。总的来说，这不是一个坏地方，就是管理跟不上。
